Joey Scholfield Joey is primarily a rug maker. Her rugs are hooked and are made from a variety of recycled materials, many being dyed. As well as rugs and cushions, Craftco normally has available her tea cosies, door hangings and brooches. She is happy to take commissions after discussion with the client. She is also willing to undertake workshops. Joey trained, at Guildford and Farnham Schools of Art, in ceramics. She did further training at Styal Mill in rag rug making. Until recently she co-ran an industrial pottery, then began making rag rugs in response to her interest in Folk Art. Rag rugs offer the excitement of instant colour using recycled materials.
